Risk Management Careers Panel Discussion

Join the Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS) Chapter and the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) for a panel discussion on risk management careers and ways you can get involved in risk management while still at school. The conversation will continue during a networking hour where other risk managers and insurance industry professionals will be available to speak with you about their careers. Food will be provided, so come hungry. All students and industry partners are welcome!

Speakers for the Panel are: 

  Peggi Miller   

Peggi is Vice President of Risk Management for Kroenke Sports. Peggi has been at KSE for 14 years and worked in the public sector prior to that. Her role at KSE started with risk management and insurance for Colorado teams and venues. Since then, the department has grown and now manages risk and insurance for multiple entities with common ownership across diverse industries. Risk management and insurance expertise in sports and entertainment, media, farm and ranch, vineyard and winery, and hospitality industries.   Renee Pettinato Mosley, JD, CPCU, ARM

Renee Pettinato Mosley is currently the Sr. Risk Manager of the City of Aurora.  She has over 29 years of experience in Risk Management in both public and private sector organizations.  Renee is a graduate of the University of Montana School of Law and holds an ARM and CPCU from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters.  

  Matt Friend

Matt is Vice President of Risk Management for Stonebridge Companies, a privately owned, innovative hotel owner, operator, and developer with almost 70 hotels. Matt leads the company's risk management strategy, negotiates insurance programs, manages claims and litigation, and is responsible for compliance and loss prevention programs. He is past president of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) Board of Directors, is an Affiliate Faculty at Regis University, Anderson College of Business and Computing, and frequently lectures at the University of Colorado, Denver and Metropolitan State University of Denver.
